Favourites have lower odds because they are considered more likely to win — but no outcome is certain, and betting is always a form of entertainment.

Bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on any odds adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip is a summary of your bets — it shows each selection, the stake, and the potential return.
Single bet: A bet on one event only. Say Team B's odds to win a limited-overs match are 1.75 — a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,750 if Team B wins (৳750 profit); if Team A wins, you lose the full ৳1,000.
Multi bet: Multiple selections are combined into one bet. The odds for each selection are multiplied together. If three selections have odds of 1.60, 1.70, and 1.80, the combined odds are 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.90 (approximately); a ৳100 stake returns ৳490 if all win. However, if even one selection loses, the entire ৳100 is lost — multi bets offer higher returns but also carry higher risk.
Once you enter the stake and press the "Confirm Bet" button, the bet is placed. Before confirming, check the full slip one more time.

How the betting exchange works
In traditional betting you bet against the site. The exchange offers two options: BACK (bet on something to win) and LAY (bet on something not to win).
Example: BACK Team A at Decimal odds of 2.50 with ৳1,000 — if Team A wins, you make ৳1,500 profit before commission; if they don't win, you lose ৳1,000.
If you LAY Team A at the same odds — your liability against a bettor's ৳1,000 stake is ৳1,500 (৳1,000 × 1.50); if Team A doesn't win, you make ৳1,000 profit before commission; if they do win, you pay out ৳1,500.
